A fresh breeze will affect the east of England this evening, bringing some showers to the far southeast. Cloud will thicken overnight in northwest Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the south and east of England. Elsewhere, some clearer skies, with temperatures dropping and some patches of fog and frost possible across the countryside. Temperatures slightly higher in the breeze in the far north of Scotland and southeast England.
