On the night of October 9, there was a drone attack on the Bryansk region of Russia. Ukraine's drones hit the ammunition warehouse of the main rocket-artillery department of the Russian Defense Ministry in the city of Karachev. As a result, an explosion and fire occurred. The warehouse covers an area of 3.5 thousand square meters. No casualties are reported. This is the third ammunition depot of the main rocket-artillery department of the Russian Defense Ministry hit by the Ukrainian army in the last month. Footage allegedly from Karachev surfaced online, showing the glow of a fire and sounds resembling detonations. Near this locality, according to publicly available data, there is an arsenal belonging to the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense containing various munitions. The shells and other weaponry located there are likely now exploding following the drone attack reported by the governor of the Bryansk region earlier this night. It should be noted that local authorities did not report any fires or related consequences but mentioned the interception of approximately 10 drones by air defense systems over the Bryansk region.
