This video captures the strangely satisfying aftermath of a chemical peel.
"I recently had an Elaine Brennan chemical peel," the filmer, Zoe, told WooGlobe. "The procedure involves waiting until around day 7-9, when the dead skin starts to detach, before you’re able to peel it off."
While most of the process goes on without a hitch, there are a couple of pieces that refuse to come off easily, and Zoe decides it's best to leave them be for a while.
It would be an understatement to say that watching Zoe patiently peel the dead skin off her face is incredibly engrossing.
"It's an experience, that's for sure," she wrote.
