This year's annual gala honors A'Lelia Walker, a patron of the Harlem Renaissance arts, who hosted extravagant parties at her townhouse, "The Dark Tower," located at 108-110 West 136th Street in Harlem, New York City. She held salons, parties, and dinners for writers, artists, musicians, and royalty, known for their extravagance and lively atmosphere. The proceeds from the Spring Benefit support ACT OUT's important performing arts, education, and community initiatives.
