A Barrackpore mother is calling on the Ministry of education to find better ways to deal with student bullies.
The woman says her son, a Form One student, has been physically attacked three times this term and while students were suspended in relation to two of the cases, it has made no difference.
She tells our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh that she even reported the incidents to the police, but was told by officers that if she pursues the matter, her child could also face charges because he fought back.
