Parallel circuits have an arrangement where current splits and combines at junctions. Ohm's law, V = IR, and Kirchhoff's rules are used to determine the current in the loops of a parallel circuit. Kirchhoff's rules include a junction rule and a loop rule.
The current in a series combination must pass through all of the resistors connected. There are no alternatives for the current. As a result, resistance rises. In the case of a parallel combination, the current has the option of passing through which resistor
