Iranian media reported explosions in the vicinity of Tehran. Israel launched airstrikes on Iran at 2:15 a.m. local time on Saturday and according to local media, loud explosions were heard on the outskirts of Tehran, the capital. According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Iraq, there were detonations between the borders of the governorates of Salah Al-din and Diyala, and its causes are still unknown. On October 1st, Iran fired nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel in response to the martyrdoms of the Hamas and Hezbollah leaders and an Islamic revolutionary guard corps general.
