'Kristine' makes landfall in Isabela - PAGASA

Severe tropical storm Kristine (international name: Trami) made landfall in Divilacan, Isabela at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its 11:00 p.m. weather bulletin on Wednesday, PAGASA reported that Kristine maintained its strength as it approached the coastal waters of Palanan, Isabela. The storm was carrying maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center, with gusts reaching up to 130 kph.

Kristine is currently moving northwest at a speed of 20 kph.
