Glasgow’s Winterfest is returning for its second year, brining a celebration of the season to the heart of the city.
This year’s Winterfest brings entertainment and family-friendly fun to both George Square and St. Enoch Square, starting in November and running throughout January.
The event will take place at St Enoch’s Square from 9 November to 29 December and George Square from 23 November to 5 January.
George square will once again be transformed into a winter festival featuring an array of attractions such as an 80m drop tower, carousel, Helter Skelter, a big wheel and ice rink.
Food will include grilled dishes, Yorkshire pudding wraps and freshly made crepes.
Over at St Enoch’s Square attractions will be a star flyer, Santa’s runaway train and a grinch train.
In addition both venues will host a range of gift stalls.
Entry is free, while all rides on St Enoch’s Square require a token system and tickets for the ice rink will be released soon.
