Melioidosis Soil Infection Blamed for Monkey Deaths at Hong Kong Zoo

Eleven monkeys have died at a Hong Kong zoo in the past week. In at least nine cases, authorities say, the culprit was melioidosis an infectious disease caused by a bacteria found in soil.
