In Cuba, president Miguel Díaz-Canel announced that the death toll rose to 7 after the passage of tropical storm Oscar trhough the east of the island. During an extraordinary meeting of the national defense council to address the emergency situation, the president informed that the seventh victim was reported in Imias municipality, in the most eastern province of the country, Guantanamo.
