When debating the Supply Bill at the Policy Stage in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Oct 21), Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin criticised the government's positive economic declarations, pointing out that ordinary Malaysians continue to bear the brunt of the escalating cost of living.
Hamzah said Budget 2025 did not sufficiently tackle the cost of living increases affecting citizens.
