Zombies hijack Halloween bullet train ride in Japan
Zombies surprised passengers aboard a running bullet train on Saturday, October 19, in an event the organizers boasted as the world’s first “haunted house” staging on Japan’s high-speed railway network.
The roughly 140-minute ride, which came with a price tag from 33000 yen (approx. $220) to 55000 yen (approx. $367), connected the country’s capital Tokyo and Osaka — home to Universal Studios Japan which is currently organizing Halloween-themed events with zombies.
A crew of ghouls entertained 40 passengers with magic and other performances.
