Google is replacing Prabhakar Raghavan, the company's head of search and ads, with longtime executive Nick Fox. Raghavan will take on the role of chief technologist, reporting directly to Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai. The restructuring comes as Google competes in the AI space and faces multiple antitrust lawsuits. Fox will lead the Knowledge and Information division, overseeing search, ads, and commerce products. Pichai also announced changes for the Gemini app and Assistant teams, integrating them into other Google units.
