Amazon announced plans to air a live election night special on Prime Video, anchored by veteran news host Brian Williams. This marks Amazon’s first foray into live news coverage. The non-partisan presentation will feature election results and analysis from various third-party news sources. Williams, who left NBC News after over two decades, will interview political analysts from across the spectrum. Viewers will not need a Prime subscription to watch. Amazon has been expanding its live programming, recently securing rights to NBA and NFL games.
