Hezbollah chief issues new warning to Israel

Hezbollah's deputy secretary general Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Tuesday (October 15) that the group has the right to attack anywhere in Israel, since Israel targeted all of Lebanon.
"Since the Israeli enemy targeted all of Lebanon, we have the right, from a defensive position, to target any point in the Israeli enemy's entity, whether in the center, the north or the south," he told a televised speech.
Qassem stated that the group will focus on targeting the Israeli military and its centers and barracks.
"I say to the Israeli Home Front Command, the solution is a ceasefire. We are not speaking from a position of weakness. If the Israelis do not want it, we will continue,” he added.
Israel expanded its bombing campaign in Lebanon on Monday (October 15), killing at least 22 people in an airstrike in the north on a house where displaced people were seeking refuge from Israeli strikes further south, health officials said.
