Fort Myers was definitely not the place to be during the first half of October 2024, and nature played a significant role in ensuring that.
"We drove to pick up our aunt from the evacuation zone when, all of a sudden, we received notifications to take cover because of a tornado warning," the filmer, Patricia, told WooGlobe. "As we drove close to our house, we saw a lot of debris and the damage the tornado had caused.
"It was scary, but thank God we were safe."
