Rainfall is affecting restoration efforts at the Kavarapettai accident site, where the Mysuru-Darbhanga Express derailed after colliding with a goods train. Approximately 12 to 13 coaches of the express train were derailed, resulting in 19 injuries. Rescue operations are still ongoing, but the rain is making it difficult for crews to work efficiently. Fortunately, there have been no reported fatalities from the accident so far.
