China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Fu Cong, has expressed China’s ‘grave concerns and strong condemnation’ of Israeli attacks on U.N. positions in Lebanon and called for a full investigation. The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said that an Israeli tank fired on a watchtower in its headquarters in Naqoura, southern Lebanon, injuring two members.
