Stoke Park: We visited Bristol's 'most haunted' park at night and made it through the beautifully eerie site

Located in North Bristol, Stoke Park Estate’s history dates back to the 14th-century when it was a state-of-the-art medieval structure for rabbit hunting.

The park is rumoured to be hunted by the ghost of Lady Elizabeth Somerset, a 17-year old girl who dies in a riding accident in 1760.

Some visitors have reported hearing a horse galloping around the grounds near the monument that commemorates Elizabeth at the top of the hill.

We decided to visit the park at night to find out if the rumours were true. We also tried our luck at spotting some of the wooden sculptures on the way.
