Musk joins Trump for rally at scene of assassination attempt
The Republican candidate for president returned to the scene of the failed assassination attempt just outside the small town of Butler, Pennsylvania, for a campaign rally.
Elon Musk, whose ownership of X makes him one of the most influential media figures on the planet, was appearing publicly at a Trump event for the first time since endorsing him in the wake of the shooting, the first of two known attempts on his life in this campaign.
After Trump invited him on to the stage he told the crowd and its sea of red Maga hats: “The true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire.”
