Ṭala 'al Badru 'Alayna is a song which is over 1400 years old and was originally sung to welcome the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the year 622CE, when he arrived in Madinah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was seeking refuge from the oppressive conditions and plots to kill him in his native city of Mecca.
