However, on the booking day, the ticketing platform crashed, and many were unable to secure tickets as they quickly sold out. In response to overwhelming demand, Coldplay announced an additional show on January 21. Unfortunately, many fans faced the same issues and couldn’t get tickets for that date either. Reports surfaced of tickets being sold in the black market at inflated prices, prompting allegations of a ticket scam against BookMyShow. Following this, the CEO of the booking platform received a summons, leading fans to speculate that the Coldplay 2025 India concert could be cancelled.
