Taiwan's first Harpoon land-based anti-ship missile launchers have been delivered to the southern port of Kaohsiung, military sources say. The delivery is part of a US$2.37 billion arms deal that was inked in 2020. Taiwan's coast guard is also acquiring "less lethal" weapons to counter China's increasingly aggressive maritime activities.
