The new digital landscape requires the full utilisation of technological advancements to reduce undue interference and eliminate gaps and opportunities for corruption across various sectors.
In his closing speech at the 3rd National Research Conference on Governance, Integrity, and Anti-Corruption 2024 on Friday (Sept 27), Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki emphasised the importance of conducting regular corruption risk assessments across different sectors.
Azam also noted that implementing recommended solutions to address both current and future challenges is vital in fostering a corruption-free national ecosystem.
