The Festival of the Mind is back in Sheffield city centre to bring arts and academics together in striking visual exhibits across the city.
Whether it is a talk under the roof of the Spiegeltent on Barkers Pool or a visit to Persistence Works to see the Tar-Dish, there is a little bit for everyone.
The Star spoke to Professor Vanessa Toulmin, the Festival Director, and Georgina Kettlewell from the Yorkshire Artspace in Persistence Works, about the festivities.
