Israeli sent to kill Netanyahu by Iran, say prosecutors
An Israeli man in his 70s has been named as the person involved in a potential plot to assassinate Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, which the authorities revealed earlier today. Moti Maman appeared in court on Thursday.

He was arrested last month, according to a joint statement released on Thursday by the Shin Bet intelligence agency and the Israeli police.
Officials said he was detained for allegedly being recruited by Iran to assassinate either Netanyahu, Yoav Gallant, the defence minister, or the head of Shin Bet.
Some Israeli media gave Maman's age as 72, others 73.
