According to research, more than half of UK households now own an Airfryer. Ownership of the money-saving and time-saving devices has increased by 70% since 2022. And with it being heralded as the most popular kitchen gadget of 2023, it seems households are continuing their efforts to save energy and bypass the use of their oven. In light of a cost of living crisis, it’s reported that the money-saving elements of the device is appealing to Brits. In fact, according to research by Utilita Energy, airfryers run at an average cost of £55 a year, whilst a standard electric cooker runs at around £335 a year.
