Yemen’s Houthis have released a video claiming to show the launch of a 'hypersonic' missile, named 'Palestine 2,' aimed at Israel during a Sunday attack.
On September 15, the Iran-backed Houthis reached central Israel for the first time with this missile. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Israel would impose a “heavy price.”
Houthi spokesman Yahya Sarea stated the missile, a hypersonic ballistic type, traveled 2,040 km in just 11 and a half minutes. However, an Israeli military official reported that the missile was intercepted and fragmented mid-air.
