A dry and clear night across most of the UK with the cloud lifting in northern Scotland, but in the south-east of England it will be cloudy with a breeze. As the night progresses the cloud will spread into central England while patches of mist and fog form in Northern Ireland and Scotland. At the start of the morning it will be sunny and fresh for northern England and Scotland but cloudier in Wales and southern England.
