Using Google Drive (Free)
Google Drive has a built-in OCR feature that converts text in images to text.
1. Upload an image to Google Drive:
- Go to [Google Drive](https://drive.google.com).
- Drag and drop the image file into Google Drive or click the "New" > "Upload file" button to upload the image.
2. Open the image with Google Docs:
- After uploading, right-click on the image file in Google Drive.
- Select "Open with" > "Google Docs".
- Google Docs will automatically recognize and convert the text in the image to text as a Google Docs document.
3. Copy the text:
- Once the text has been converted, you can copy the text content directly from Google Docs and paste it into Word or any word processing software.
