Hurricane Francine is battling through Louisiana with winds of 100 mph.
The storm made landfall in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, on Wednesday (Sept 11) evening as a Category 2 hurricane.
The storm has already knocked out electricity to more than a quarter-million residents and is threatening widespread floods.
Footage from a shrimp boat in Dulac, a city right by the water, shows crashing waves and intense winds.
Additional footage from Houma shows heavy rainfall and trees bending in the wind.
