Malaysia will study strategies from other countries to address issues related to social media use by minors, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
Speaking at the weekly post-Cabinet press conference on Wednesday (Sept 11), Fahmi, who also serves as the government spokesman, stated that the proposed social media licensing would hold platforms more accountable, particularly in enforcing age restrictions.
