Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire establishments enjoy success at ‘Food Awards Wales'

Plenty of Pembrokeshire eating establishments enjoyed success at the ‘Food Awards Wales 2024’ ceremony last night (September 9).
Creative Oceanic powered by Oceanic Events are proud to announce the winners for The 7th Food Awards Wales 2024.
These awards look to honour the top culinary destinations in Wales while recognising the hard work and efforts of those committed to always providing the country with the freshest of products and amazing delights.
They also showcase the best restaurants, takeaways, pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros, as well as those who help us explore new flavours and cuisines from different cultures.
This prestigious event took place at The Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff on Monday, September 9 which saw top professionals coming together to celebrate their achievements and make lasting business connections.
Saundersfoot’s The Dragon Palace scooped the award for ‘Best Oriental Establishment’ - whilst it’s sister restaurant nearby in Pentlepoir ‘Lokky’s’ picked up a Highly Commended accolade in the same category.
Nora’s Kitchen based at Tenby’s Market Hall on the seaside town’s High Street won ‘Best Asian Food Establishment’.

We are so grateful and honoured to receive this awards for the second time. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank to each and everyone for voting for us.
“And of course to my husband Rich, thank you for putting up with me. Thank you for all your love and support. To all our past and present staff, thank you guys for all your hard work. Team work makes the dream work.”
There was more success for Tenby with Fuchsia Caterers picking up ‘Caterer of the Year’
For Kilgetty and Begelly - Rib & Oyster were handed a Highly Commended in the ‘Best Seafood Establishment’, whilst The Begelly Arms were also given a Highly Commended in ‘Best Hotel Restaurant of the Year’.
Just over the border in Carmarthenshire, the Inn at the Sticks located in Llansteffan won the ‘Gastro Pub of the Year’ (South West).
