Chagan Lake in Jilin Province in the northeast is among the top ten freshwater lakes in China, where autumn fishing has resumed after a 4-month ban.
To ensure sustainability, anglers only use nets with mesh openings larger than 20 cm and fish larvae are restocked into the lake every spring and autumn.
