In an Instagram story, Dhillon expressed his gratitude to those who reached out, saying, “I’m safe, my people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything.” He also shared a video of himself singing. Reports suggest that Rohit Godara, allegedly a member of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, claimed responsibility for the alleged shooting. AP Dhillon’s house was reportedly targeted because Salman Khan featured in the singer’s latest music video ‘Old Money.’
