Cloudy skies with outbreaks of rain approaching and reaching western Scotland and Northern Ireland during the morning with a brighter and drier window of weather for much of Scotland after any rain clears the east and northeast. Across much of England and Wales, rather cloudy and muggy for some with showery outbreaks in places but some bright or sunny spells developing, which in turn, will trigger the development of locally heavy showers and possible, isolated thunderstorms across East Anglia and southeast England during the afternoon. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the morning of 03/09/24.
