Episode 2 of Business Proposal continues the chaotic and hilarious storyline as Shin Ha-ri navigates her tangled web of lies, juggling her double life as herself and her best friend’s stand-in. With Kang Tae-moo determined to proceed with their “relationship,” the episode ramps up the comedic tension while laying the groundwork for an unlikely romance.

Escaping the Proposal:

The episode picks up right after Tae-moo’s unexpected proposal at the end of Episode 1. Shin Ha-ri, posing as Jin Young-seo, is stunned by the abruptness of Tae-moo’s proposal, still hoping she can find a way out of the situation without revealing her true identity. She frantically tries to dissuade him by listing ridiculous conditions, expecting him to back off. However, Tae-moo, unfazed and amused by her audacity, agrees to every demand she makes, much to her dismay.

Realizing that Tae-moo is serious about the contract marriage, Ha-ri panics and makes a dramatic exit, vowing to never meet him again. However, her relief is short-lived when she finds out that Tae-moo has already informed his grandfather, Chairman Kang Da-goo, about his decision to marry her, believing her to be Jin Young-seo.

The Pursuit:

Determined to maintain her professional life without disruptions, Ha-ri tries to focus on her job at GO Food, but Tae-moo continues to pursue her, insisting they meet to discuss their engagement details. Tae-moo’s relentless determination is partly driven by his grandfather’s pressure to settle down, but he’s also intrigued by Ha-ri’s (as Young-seo) unique personality and boldness.

Ha-ri, desperately trying to keep her real identity hidden, constantly dodges Tae-moo’s advances at work. This leads to a series of comedic situations, including Ha-ri hiding behind office furniture, disguising herself, and making awkward excuses whenever she bumps into Tae-moo, who remains oblivious to her true identity.

Young-seo’s Complications:

Meanwhile, the real Jin Young-seo finds herself entangled in her own romantic mess. She has an awkward yet funny encounter with Cha Sung-hoon, Tae-moo’s secretary and close confidant. Sung-hoon is smart, composed, and has been by Tae-moo’s side for years. He’s aware of the blind date fiasco but doesn’t know the full extent of the identity switch.

Young-seo’s blossoming interest in Sung-hoon adds another layer of humor and tension, especially since she is inadvertently causing complications in Ha-ri’s already messy situation with Tae-moo. Sung-hoon’s suspicion about Ha-ri’s identity grows, creating a subplot that intertwines with the main narrative.

The Contract Meeting:

Tae-moo, determined to finalize the contract marriage, arranges a formal meeting with Ha-ri, where he presents her with a detailed agreement outlining the terms of their fake relationship. The scene is filled with awkwardness and hilarity as Ha-ri nervously tries to keep up her façade while frantically reading the contract’s absurd clauses. Tae-moo’s businesslike approach to t
