Trump Clemency Recipient Jonathan Braun Faces New Allegations, Commuted Drug Dealer Arrested for Assault Charges

Jonathan Braun, a convicted New York drug dealer and predatory lender whose 10-year prison sentence was commuted by former President Donald Trump in 2021, was recently arrested on assault charges. Braun is accused of assaulting his 75-year-old father-in-law while allegedly trying to protect his daughter from Braun. He also faces charges of assaulting his wife on two separate occasions and petit larceny for unpaid bridge tolls while driving luxury cars without license plates. Braun was also accused of petit larceny for allegedly failing to pay $160 in bridge tolls while driving a Lamborghini and Ferrari without license plates. Braun previously was fined $20 million for predatory lending.
