Ruth Weston and Michael Weston are heading out to celebrate their anniversary. Their daughter, Annabel Weston, is angry that they are leaving. In the kitchen, she throws her plate of food on the floor. She tells her babysitter, Mrs. Foster, that she hates her. Later, the baby-sitter is watching a TV show. The door creaks. Someone creeps up on the babysitter and stabs her with a knife .
The parents arrive home. They look around uneasily. They look in on the babysitter and find her bloodied body.
