Surah Nur Verse 36 to 38
Verse 36
فِى بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ ٱللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسْمُهُۥ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ فِيهَا بِٱلْغُدُوِّ وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِ ٣٦
˹That light shines˺ through houses ˹of worship˺ which Allah has ordered to be raised, and where His Name is mentioned. He is glorified there morning and evening
(यह चिराग़) उन महान घरों1 में (जलाया जाता है), जिनके बारे में अल्लाह ने आदेश दिया है कि वे ऊँचे किए जाएँ और उनमें उसका नाम याद किया जाए। उनमें सुबह और शाम उसकी महिमा का गान करते हैं।
Verse37
رِجَالٌۭ لَّا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَـٰرَةٌۭ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِيتَآءِ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ ۙ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًۭا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ ٣٧
by men1 who are not distracted—either by buying or selling—from Allah’s remembrance, or performing prayer, or paying alms-tax. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will tremble,
ऐसे लोग, जिन्हें व्यापार तथा क्रय-विक्रय अल्लाह के स्मरण, नमाज़ क़ायम करने और ज़कात देने से ग़ाफ़िल नहीं करता। वे उस दिन1 से डरते हैं, जिसमें दिल तथा आँखें उलट जाएँगी।
Verse 38
لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ ٣٨
˹hoping˺ that Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and increase them out of His grace. And Allah provides for whoever He wills without limit.
ताकि अल्लाह उन्हें उसका सर्वश्रेष्ठ बदला दे जो उन्होंने किया, और उन्हें अपने अनुग्रह से अधिक प्रदान करे और अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है, बेहिसाब जीविका देता है।
