Perdue Foods recalls over 160,000 pounds of frozen chicken products after discovering thin metal wire in some packages. The voluntary recall, conducted in coordination with the USDA, affects some of its chicken nuggets and chicken tenders. No injuries or illnesses have been reported. The recall follows consumer complaints about the contamination. In 2019, Perdue recalled nearly 32,000 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products due to potential bone contamination.
