Employers who hire undocumented migrants are firmly in the crosshairs of the Immigration Department.
During a press conference on Monday (Aug 19), Immigration Director-General Datuk Ruslin Jusoh disclosed that the department had arrested 29,030 undocumented migrants and 900 employers between January 1 and last Friday.
He further stated that the department will intensify its focus on errant employers, with plans to bring them to court.
