IANS Exclusive: While answering about the conditions similar to those in Bangladesh visible in India as well, Indian Overseas Congress Chief Sam Pitroda answered "I think these are two different countries. India is much larger, more diverse, and more complex. India is much more aware of democracy. I wouldn’t compare India to Bangladesh, mainly because of our population of 1.4 billion and the diversity we have. However, there is always a danger of an authoritarian attitude. I think India is very different, but anything can happen—I never expected these things to happen in Bangladesh"
