Five people have been charged in connection with the ketamine overdose death of actor Matthew Perry, including two doctors, Perry's assistant, and a woman known as "The Ketamine Queen." Perry died in October from acute effects of ketamine, with contributing factors including drowning, heart disease, and prescription drug effects. The two lead defendants are accused of taking advantage of and profiting from Perry's addiction by selling him ketamine. Autopsy results found high levels of ketamine in Perry's system, indicating the overdose caused him to lose consciousness and drown in a jacuzzi.
