Still with an advantage over the bunch, riders from the breakaway contested the third climb of the day, the 5.7km Côte de Laviron. Intent on taking over the Maillot à pois, Justine Ghekiere once again crested the category 3 climb first, beating Niamh Fisher Black and Fransizka Koch to the line. She averaged 23.7km/h on the ascent and will want to keep pushing on to take as many of today's mountains points as possible.
