A political row erupted when the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi was given a seat in back rows during the Independence Day event at the Red Fort on August 15. Reacting to the seating arrangement, the Congress slammed the Modi government saying the Prime Minister has a "small heart" and "petty mindset".
