Sadiq Khan’s £210million Ulez scrappage scheme is being “wound down” and will close to Londoners in less than a month.The scheme enables drivers to receive cash grants in exchange for handing in vehicles which don’t comply with the clean air zone’s emission rules. It is being closed after accepting nearly 54,000 applications.It will stop taking new applications by September 7, 2024.
