Body-worn camera footage from southeast Texas captures a dramatic rescue of a woman whose car was nearly submerged in a pond. Jonquetta Winbush, who suffered a seizure on July 24, drove off the road and into the water. Her two children managed to escape the vehicle.
Winbush then passed out and accidentally left her foot on the gas pedal, causing the car to plunge further into the water. West Orange Assistant Police Chief Jessie Romero and his team responded quickly, dragging Winbush from the pond. Officer Cobb performed chest compressions on her.
After spending three weeks in the ICU, Winbush is now expected to make a full recovery.
