An unfortunate rear-wheel puncture for Grace Brown puts her out of contention for the stage win. She was ahead of teammate Loes Adegeest before having to change bike and on such a short course there was no opportunity to make up for the time loss. She finished in 7'49'', 19 seconds adrift of Adegeest.
